Distracting Weather
You know the feeling when you have so much to do but you just keep getting distracted. Well that was me on Tuesday. The weather was very changeable and kept providing different backdrops to the escarpment view. I had my camera beside me and was running out the door to take pictures almost every hour. The day started out fairly foggy and rainy but as the morning wore on, the sun started to poke through and warm up the air. I could also see that the fog retreated and hung along the cold Grimsby shoreline providing a very neat contrast between the land and the sky. I just love those days and they happen more often in the spring.
Later on that evening a gust front came through with rolling clouds but we didn't end up seeing any storms until later that night. The thunderstorms, which were ahead of a quasi stationary front, didn't have a lot of dramatic lightning. It was mainly in-cloud or cloud to cloud. Still, I don't dismiss those conditions because chances are if you are out there long enough, with your cable release in hand, the scene will change so you could eventually pick up some nice colours in the clouds.

From the immense and breathtaking structure of a thunderstorm, to the delicate wisps and soft colours of dust and gas in deep space.
